Result: 4-0

The formidable BA girls got off to a slow but steady start, with most of the possession in Bedfont's half. Velcro-boots-Harriet kicked us off with a good first shot on goal that this time wasnt so lucky so as to score. BA scored the first goal with fine run down the left wing by Harriet who placed a perfect cross into Petra who "bent it like Beckham" and scored what looked like an easy goal making it 1-0 to BA. This seemed to give ba the incentive they needed to show what they are really about and take total control of the first half. The girls had their fair share of near misses and shots on target. The second little gem came from Char (dangermouse), giving it large with an excellent cross to Harriet who put the ball where it belonged in the back of Bedfont's net, making it 2-0. Bedfont came back strong putting pressure on the home side but BA's fine defence closed them down with skill and ease.

The start of the second half, saw the sub of Jane (who in the first half played a blinder and was unfortunate not to score after a couple of near misses!!!!) and Laura come on. Bedfont seemed to have red bull at half time while BA had horlicks. The opposition were very strong and determined with their attack and had a stronger possession of the ball...........but not for long. Laura provided the much needed fresh legs (and younger!!) to help pick the girls back up. After weaving in and out of the Bedfont girls she helped provide some fine passes to Nav and Harriet and all three were unfortunate not to convert. BA let Bedfont know who was the DADDY by putting away a third goal by Harriet(not sure who passed to her). The velcro kid was trying hard for her hat-trick but was unfortunate to hit the post, Laura and Stacey followed this up by ploughing through their defence but were unlucky not to score. Poor old Stacey received an almighty blast in the chest from a ball travelling at the speed of light (hope you ok old bean). Ever the trooper she picked herself up brushed herself down and got on with the job in question. Nav seemed hell-bent on scoring and when Laura put a well placed corner into the box, there was a scramble (no not egg) but Nav came in and put the icing on the cake to make it a well deserved 4-0 to ba. Everyone seemed to pull together and play like a real team, Char running around as normal being everywhere, the result itself just goes to show how well the back four really played. All the girls played a blinder and this was helped on by the yet again the great support on the sideline!

The last 3 games have proved that we are truely a team (Together Each Achives More), lets keep up the good work.

Hope I have not forgotten anyone, sorry if I have, it's hard to remember when you get to my age.

Next match report to be done by SARAH.
