After a good warm up and quick pep talk with Amrik we were ready to get started. We had beaten Chiswick in the previous encounter and were keen to repeat this feat and earn another 3 points. Once the ref had checked our studs and reg numbers we were off. We had first kick-off and quickly we found ourselves with a throw-in level with their 18 yard box. Harriet received the ball and weaved past 2 or 3 of their players and blasted a goal past the keeper (1-0). After the restart we again found ourselves in their half with loads of great passing between the midfield and the forwards. A lovely long pass found Char racing towards the goal one-on-one with a Chiswick defender who then slide in for the ball and ended up taking Char down in the box. Harriet stepped up to take the penalty. The Keeper got her fingers to it but the ball rolled over the line (2-0). So far Chiswick hadn't spent more than a couple of minutes in our half. Another great effort from Line, Preeti, Belinda and Simone saw us once again turn over the ball from kick-off and we were back in Chiswick's half putting pressure on goal again. I took a shot on goal and was unfortunate to see the ball graze past the post ( on the wrong side ... oh well ). Some more great passing around then Char struck again, following a lovely 1-2 from Harriet (3-0). Definitely now in command instead of sitting back we piled even more pressure on - Petra getting some beautiful crosses in for the right wing and Nav working really hard on the left wing. The fourth goal came from a Petra corner. A Chiswick defender got a foot to the ball in the box and only managed to clear it 10 m where Harriet came flying in and blasted the ball with her RIGHT foot .... the ball sailed over the keeper’s head (4-0).

After the break, it was Chiswick's kick-off and they came out fighting. Sarah was tested for the first time in the match as Chiswick made a run forward but Sarah safely collected the ball up. We replied with yet more pressure .... Chiswick was struggling to get any ball in the mid field as Stacey and Harriet scrapped for everything. Stacey picked up a stray ball and sent a lovely long pass to Char who ran onto it and finished the goal calmly (5-0). Another loose ball picked up by Harriet and a pass down the wing to Nav saw the 6th goal as Nav passed to Char who lobbed the keeper(6-0). The 7th goal build up started with some great defending with Simone who then took the ball off the Chiswick player before passing to Nav who then ran the length of half the pitch drawing the defender with her before managing to just knock the ball back for Char to finish off (7-0).

There was then 2 or 3 attempts by myself when I managed to completely miss goal ....... Char then scored her 5th goal ... with her LEFT foot (8-0). Chiswick made a few changes and battled to get a throw-in level with our 18 yard box .... the left back rushing into the box and managed to get a pass off to her forward to placed the ball in the back of the net (8-1). Redoubling our efforts again we rushed down pitch. Again Harriet went in for strong tackles stripping the ball off the opposition, passed to Nav who found me at the top of the box and I converted on my 5th attempt of the half !! (9-1). With three minutes still to play we were hustling for a tenth goal ... Char from the practically the right corner flag crossed a beautiful ball into the box where Nav was waiting - fantastic header (10-1). Final whistle blow and we had got another 3 points.
