Well, after most of us getting lost, some more than others!! We finally made it to the Corinthian Casuals Ground. We had a short time to warm up before the game started and we were off. Being overwhelmed by their strange (to say the least!) Kit colours we started a little slow and soon found ourselves 1-0 down. Despite a bit of aggression from midfield and the strikers, we failed to equalise and Danger Mouse(Char) found herself in a heap after being headbutted and was calmed down very professionally by Kirsty, cheers for that!

We went a further goal down and soon found ourselves with a man down as Simone went off with a nose bleed, having had the ball kicked in her face. She bravely fought on in defence and stopped them from getting through several times. Our strawberry blonde goalie in the first half made some cracking saves and was helped by our very solid back three or was it four!!! (Nav will share the joke!!) End of the first half saw us 2-0 down.

We started the second half very solidly, Char moved to striker, strawberry blonde came into midfield and Kirsty went in goal. Harriet battled on with the rather large number fifteen despite having stud imprints on her knees and stomach from her but they somehow managed to get number three in.

We battled hard and decided on a tactical change so Simone came off and was replaced by a then sober Pam who went into defence! With 10 minutes to go we made some chances but just couldn't put them away and the game ended 7-0. Never mind girls, we know how they play now, wait till they get us at home, we'll show them!!!
