I've got to say maybe i was the right person to write this matchs report, seeing as i did have a big, fat stitch for practically the whole 90 minutes :-) and pretty much saw all the action on the pitch!

Despite playing a more experienced team, "South London" (division 2), the 30 degrees we were burning in (which i was gonna faint in!!) and a missing referee, it was a very nice day! dont u think!?! (well done who found the last minute ref, not quite sure who!) The game kicked off and it weren't going to be an easy ride against a tough side. It was good that we all carried on for the whole game seeing as we didn't have any subs available. well we did, but leena (not sure if thats how you spell your name sorry!#It's Line ed#) had to go work after a delayed start! Before we knew it the south londoners were off to a cracking start, scoring in the first 5 - 10 minutes. However we defended well and we had Jo (first half) and Preeti (second half) as our alert keepers who was saving shots from left, right and centre every couple of minutes...as well coming out of there box and grabbing the ball at every opportunity...well Preeti did injure herself, so i suggest u check that knee/leg out girly!....well done goalies...

well during half time we did recover, Amrik made a few changes to the line up and we were of to an attacking start.

Jenny was flying around her side of the pitch blocking crucial shots in the box against one of the many big tough girls we were playing and as for Deby who hurt her wrist, still carried out a few more throw ins as well as carryin on for the whole game....wot a tough chick...:-) The superstrong voice box aka Petra was screaming her head of as usual, but in a nice way, urging BA on.... Stacey didn't look affected by the heat from where i was standing and a great effort for marking one of the much taller girls in the other team....(well they were ALL quite tall if you think about it) Katie and Danni did a great job at the back, blocking most shots and helped keep the score to single figures...-----> which Petra said she would buy us all a drink for!!! Harriet and Nav wizzzzed through a majority of the midfielders trying to pull a goal back, but unfortunately Harriet's shot curled wide of the post and Nav couldn't quite get a foot to it after a corner shot ....which was very close! oh and a special mention to Nav who kept me onside!.... :-)

Before we knew it ...the sweaty, sticky, 90 minutes was over.....and we didn't do quite so badly. So that was a round up of the match against South London on the 5th sept...

.....and hoped u enjoyed reading this report, which i have done for the 1st time.
