Game: BAWFC Reserves v Clapton Orient Reserves (a.k.a. COWs)
Author: Bin
Player of the match: Julia
1st Half
Wow what a first half. We kept the pressure on the COWs working really well
defending. Having kept the ball in there half for the majority of the game
we managed to win loads of corners (well done Petra for taking them).
Simone nearly got lucky in scoring a goal for BA. Everyone held up the
momentum and team spirit was high. Half time 0-0 (broke for oranges and
Petra's lovely chocolate rasins. [Note from ed: maybe the raisins (although
we sure deserved them) weren't such a good idea? See 2nd half]
2nd half
Probably not the second half we were hoping for but hey 3-0 is not bad. We
had two unlucky moments when the COWs kicked the ball over our heads and
straight into the goal. We needed to have kept the pressure on the COWs
like we did in the first half but i guess fatigue was kicking in. A lot
more talking and team work was needed during the second half.
We have come along way ladies from the beginning of the season: let's keep
up the high spirits and get some more GOALs!
I know it's short and sweet but not really sure what else to write.
